Choriatiki Salad (Greek salad)
Greek salad is one of the most healthy food we can enjoy everyday! It is very easy to prepare and it is the best option for a light dinner with family and friends. This is the traditional greek version.
Total Time: 15 minutes
1 large red onion
1 green bell pepper
6 tablespoons organic Kastro Extra Virgin Olive Oil
100g of Greek feta cheese, sliced or cumbled
dried Greek oregano (rigani)
1 dozen Kalamata olives
Wash and dry the tomatoes, cucumber, and green pepper. Clean off the outer skin from the onion, wash, and dry.
Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized irregularly shaped chunks, removing the core. Slice the cucumber into slices, cutting slices in half. Slice the pepper into rings, removing the stem and seeds. Slice the onion into thin rings.
Combine the tomatoes, cucumbers, green pepper and onion in a large salad bowl. Sprinkle with oregano, pour 6 tablespoons organic Kastro Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the salad, and toss. Just before serving, place the feta on top of the salad, either as a slice or crumbled, and toss insome olives. Sprinkle the cheese with oregano, mix the oil and drizzle over the top. Salt lightly.

Lettuce Salad (Marulo-salata)
This salad is the best choice for your weekend brunch at home! Combine organic Kastro extra virgin olive oil with some fresh lemon juice and ... enjoy it!

half a lemon
Wash and dry the lettuce, cucumber and radish.Cut the lettuce into small pieces. Slice the cucumber and the radish into slices.
Combine the lettuce, cucumber and radish in a large salad plate. Sprinkle with organic Kastro Extra Virgin Olive Oil and lemon juice over the salad, and toss. Salt lightly.
